Returns & Exchanges

 

We want you to wear your history with confidence. We accept returns and exchanges
within 14 days of delivery. Because return shipping to our forge in
Morocco can be costly and time-consuming for international buyers, we offer an
exclusive Replacement Courtesy alongside standard returns.

Option 1 — The Replacement Courtesy
(Recommended)

To save you the cost and hassle of international return shipping, you may choose
to keep your original item, and we will forge you a brand new replacement in the
correct size or style. You simply cover the exact cost of the new outgoing
shipping label.

Option 2 — Standard Return

If you prefer a standard refund, you may ship the item back to us. Buyers are
responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original,
unworn condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Cancellations

 

We begin crafting and preparing your order quickly. We gladly accept order
cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. Please email us

with your order number to request a cancellation. Once a piece has entered the
active forging or shipping process beyond this window, it cannot be canceled.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

 

United States — Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)

All orders shipped to the United States are sent Delivered Duty Paid. The price
you see at checkout is the final price you pay. VOWEN manages all import
paperwork and covers all US border tariffs and customs duties on your behalf.
You will never be charged surprise fees upon delivery.

International Orders — Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU)

Orders shipped outside the United States are shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid.
Buyers are entirely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or VAT
that may apply upon delivery in their respective countries. VOWEN is not
responsible for any delays caused by customs processing.

Welcome to VOWEN. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of
vowen.co and the purchase of our hand-forged jewelry and related products.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound
by the following Terms.

1. General Conditions & Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion
of the Service without express written permission by us.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content included on this site — jewelry designs, text, graphics, logos,
images, and video clips — is the exclusive property of VOWEN and protected
by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use our
brand, designs, or imagery for any commercial purpose without our explicit,
written consent.

3. Products, Materials & Disclaimers

Our jewelry is hand-forged using traditional techniques and raw materials.
By purchasing from VOWEN, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Handmade Variations:
    Because each piece is forged by hand, no two items are exactly alike.
    Subtle variations in dimensions and weave tension are intentional hallmarks
    of the artisan process, not defects.
  • Living Finishes (Patina):
    Our copper and brass items are deliberately left unsealed and uncoated,
    designed to develop a natural patina over time. We do not accept returns
    based on the natural tarnishing or aging of the metal.
  • Skin Discoloration:
    Pure copper naturally reacts to the pH levels in human skin, which can
    occasionally leave a harmless, temporary green mark on the wrist.
    This is a natural chemical reaction, not a defect.
  • Allergies:
    It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware of their own metal allergies.
    VOWEN is not liable for any allergic reactions resulting from contact with
    copper, brass, or stainless steel.

4. Accuracy of Billing & Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase information.
We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed due to incorrect shipping
addresses provided by the buyer.

5. Pricing & Typographical Errors

Prices are subject to change without notice. In the event that a VOWEN product
is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or
cancel any orders placed for that product. If your card has already been charged,
we will issue a full refund to your original method of payment.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall VOWEN, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or
agents be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental,
punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of our
Service or products procured using our Service.

7. Prohibited Uses

You are prohibited from using the site or its content for any unlawful purpose,
to infringe upon our intellectual property rights, to submit false or misleading
information, or to upload or transmit viruses or malicious code.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of Morocco. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your
purchase from VOWEN shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts located in Morocco.

9. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms
at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
